Comments: Signed up for the service 4 days ago, login id was not correctly enterred on mfire's end. Data base error result meant no ISP ! Their 24 hour technical support never returned 2 telephone messages and one email. When their supervisor was offered the choice of providing a credit for the non-existent service he didn't have the authority and wanted me to waste additional time waiting on hold. Furthermore, the same supervisor did not know the name of the company CEO! A mickey mouse operation for amateurs only.

Comments: This ISP is not even worth getting for FREE much less paying for it. If there was a rating less than ZERO I would have rated it that, especially for speed and performance.

Comments: Frequent disconnects, extremely low connection speeds that make using the internet impossible. Difficult to cancel - doesn't give an address to contact them

Comments: Been with them for 5 months now. They're a little pricey. Accelerator wouldn't work on 2 occasions, called tech support, they were able to help, but not very friendly. After looking here may shop around.

Comments: Since their "upgrade" the webmail has been horrid, constantly down, not very functional at all. Until the upgrade it was really good.

Comments: Be careful with Mfire services , Mfire will cheat you please read their argreement .
If you will look down the user agreement to the number (3). The second paragraph under that number, Example 2 states: "b.Example 2. If you sign up for theService on the 31st of January, you will be charged for the entire month of January." . When I sign up Mfire in the year 2003 , Mfire didn't has this argreement, but when I cancel Mfire service in Sep 25th - 2004 , Mfire has charged my credit card right after I cancel the service . They will continue do so for two more months . I have to change my credit card number to prevent Mfire from unauthorized charged . STAY AWAY FROM MFIRE or you will get robbed .

Comments: Everything used to be fine but mfire just completed an upgrade (and I use the term advisedly) to their mail server . It's now basically unusable. Mail is constantly lost - they lost at least a dozen messages on me just yesterday. The QC on it must have been abysmal. Stay far, FAR away unless they fix it.

Comments: All is well, especially for a 56k. However, BEWARE! If you sign-up ber sure to do so at the BEGINNING of the month only! You pay for the entire month you sign-up in! (I signed up on the 29th; paid full month's charge for a day). Not very cool.

Comments: MFire was great to setup - have no problem taking your money - but fall flat with speed, access, and customer service (as if it is a hassel to bot her them).

In the end, after repeated hang-ups, regular slow speeds (my phone line is fine), and some ok to fast connections - I had to discontinue them because they decided to send out nasty grams about reducing connection times - when they claim to have "Unlimited Internet Access".

Comments: Switched to mFire principally because our previous ISP was blocking third party SMP T
mail. Relatives in Europe couldn't get mail
through. mFire seems to have solved that and
all is going well. Setup was pretty easy although I needed customer support to resolve a problem. Wait time was about a minute and the
service courteous and helpful. The price of $14.95 ($5.00 off if via all-free-ISP.com site )
worked for me. One thing I read many reviewers
complain about is speed. Up here in northern
NH the best I can get is 28.8 bps with ANY ISP .
The accelerator is a necessity. These speeds are
not the fault of the ISP but the lousy phone lines and old switching stations of the major
phone companies that the ISP 's have to use.
